We are seeking Senior Care Assistants to join our teams at Monarch Healthcare, with two opportunities available within the Clifton, Nottingham area. Our homes provide high-quality care and support to older adults and individuals living with dementia. - Night Senior at Clifton Manor Residential Home
- Day/Night Senior at Kingfisher Court Residential Home
Position Details:
- Schedule: Rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
- Rate of pay: Up to £13.21 per hour, including increments for NVQ 2 and 3
- Shift Times: Clifton Manor 20:00-07:00
- Shift Times: Kingfisher Court 07:45-20:00/19:45-08:00
- Location: Clifton, NG11
- Required: NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or above

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care and ensuring the highest standards are maintained at all times. You will support residents with all aspects of daily living, while also guiding and supporting colleagues to ensure shifts run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs.
- Complete, observe and review care planning needs, and complete written daily records as required and in line with the Company's policies and procedures
- Answer the nurse call system, giving assistance as required
- Report on the well-being of Clients and liaise with healthcare professionals
- Clean and maintain equipment. Ensure the Care Centre remains clean and tidy
- Dispense medication, if required, and ensure the correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication
