We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse (Temporary days) to join our dedicated team at Heeley Bank Care Home.
Our Home: Heeley Bank, based in Sheffield, S2, is a purpose-built residential and nursing home with a warm, homely feel. We provide care and nursing support for older adults, including those living with dementia. Our home offers bright, spacious communal areas and gardens, and is supported by a kind, dedicated team who take pride in the care they provide. Working pattern: 3 days per week, initially on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave, with the opportunity to become permanent should a suitable vacancy arise at Heeley Bank or within another Monarch Healthcare home. Rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
Location: Heeley, Sheffield, S2 (Please consider your travel arrangements, including weekends, before applying.)
Reimbursement of annual NMC Pin payment – subject to no restrictions placed. Contributory pension. We cover the cost of your DBS Check.
Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied and will include:
- The formulation of person-centred care plans – Reviewing and updating of care plans to reflect client need, ensuring Care Plans are completed and maintained in consultation with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines and Company policies.
- Administration of medication – Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.
- Monitoring of resident well-being – Report any ill health amongst Clients and make requests for GP and Professional visits where necessary.
- Supervision of the care team when acting as the nurse in charge, ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant Staff Members at the end of each shift.
- Liaise with Healthcare professionals.
