We are recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to join our team at Clifton Manor Residential Home in Clifton, NG11. At Clifton Manor, we offer care and support to older adults and individuals living with dementia. Our home provides bright, spacious accommodation designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Senior Care Assistant (Nights) – Position Details:

  • Schedule: We work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
  • Rate of pay: Up to £13.21 per hour, including increments for NVQ 2 and 3.
  • Shift Times: 30 hours per week, 20:00-07:00.
  • Location: Rivergreen, Clifton, NG11 (Please consider travel times, including on weekends, before applying).
  • Required: NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or above.
  • 5.6 weeks of Annual Leave.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest levels of care are maintained by supporting Clients with all aspects of daily living and providing support to staff members, ensuring shifts run in an efficient manner.
  • Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs. Complete, observe and review care planning needs, and complete written daily records as required and in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Answer the nurse call system, giving assistance as required.
  • Report on the well-being of Clients and liaise with healthcare professionals.
  • Clean and maintain equipment. Ensure the Care Centre remains clean and tidy.
  • Dispense medication, if required, and ensure the correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication.

All positions are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.
