We are recruiting for a Kitchen Manager/Cook to join our dedicated team at Clifton Manor Nursing Home in Clifton, NG11. At Clifton Manor, we offer care and nursing support to older adults and individuals living with dementia.
Rate of Pay: £14-£15 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Schedule: Rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
Location: Rivergreen, Clifton, NG11 (Please consider travel times, including on weekends)

We are looking to speak with people who are passionate about cooking and providing a range of quality meals for the people who live within the care and nursing home. We will look to you to prepare and cook hot and cold meals, taking into consideration dietary requirements and individual preferences. You will also provide leadership, support and supervision to the kitchen staff team.
Further responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate records of food supplies and deliveries
- Stock rotation
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, well maintained, and stored appropriately
- Ensure the cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas are carried out effectively
Required: A food hygiene certificate and City and Guilds qualification is required, alongside supervisory experience. All positions are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.
