Location: Ferndene Care Home, Park Springs Road, Gainsborough, DN21

Shift Times: 19:45–08:00

Hours: 3 or 4 Nights per week

Rate of pay: Up to £21 per hour, paid breaks

Schedule: Rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays

About the Role:

Monarch Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ferndene Care Home in Gainsborough, working Night shifts. Ferndene is a purpose-built care home providing high-quality residential and nursing care for older adults, including individuals living with dementia. With spacious accommodation and a committed team, we focus on delivering person-centred care in a warm and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and update person-centred care plans in consultation with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals, in line with NMC guidelines and company policies
  • Administer prescribed medication and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of residents, reporting any concerns and coordinating appropriate professional input
  • Lead and support the care team while acting as nurse in charge, ensuring effective communication and thorough handovers
  • Liaise with external professionals to ensure high standards of care are maintained
