We are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our dedicated team at Poplars Nursing and Residential Home, Burton on Trent. At Poplars, we provide care and nursing support to older adults and individuals living with dementia. Rate of Pay: In line with national minimum wage
Hours: 16 hours per week, working on a rota including weekends and bank holidays
Location: Burton on Trent, DE13 (Please consider travel times, including on weekends, before applying)

Responsibilities:
As a Laundry Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the nursing home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. You will maintain the cleanliness of linen, towels, and Clients’ personal clothing alongside ensuring the laundry room and equipment remains clean and tidy. This will include washers, dryers, laundry bags, lint trays, vents and floors.
