About the Role
This is a full-time Year 3 teaching position running from September through to Christmas, with full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment. You’ll be joining a supportive Key Stage 2 team and will play a key role in guiding pupils through an important transitional year as they build independence and confidence in their learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a teacher who:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Has experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
- Is confident with full teaching responsibilities, including planning and assessment
- Is proactive, organised, and passionate about pupil progress
- Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
