Essential Requirements

  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, childcare or early years setting
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development and learning

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children's learning and development through play-based activities and positive interactions, helping them reach key developmental milestones.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the delivery of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development
  • Observing, monitoring and recording children's progress
  • Promoting safeguarding, health and wellbeing at all times
  • Supporting routines including mealtimes, play sessions and learning activities
