About the Role
You will be delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop essential life skills, independence, and an understanding of nutrition and healthy eating. The school supports hands-on, creative learning and encourages students to take pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 (up to GCSE level)
- Plan and deliver high-quality, practical and engaging lessons
- Support students in developing cooking skills, food knowledge, and safety awareness
- Contribute to curriculum planning and department development
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and student progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology / Hospitality & Catering
- Experience teaching up to GCSE level
- Excellent classroom and practical lesson management skills
