The children that you would be working with are often experiencing a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, and may also have Special Educational Needs.

You would be required to deliver Maths & English usually at KS 2/3/4 level, or Functional Skills; often pupils are not working to age-related expectations.

  • Tuition usually takes place within the school day, and an individual assignment is usually 2 hours daily (Monday to Friday) – you can accept as many assignments as your schedule will allow! You would be required to complete daily attendance/session feedback, and half termly progress reports.

  • Tuition usually needs to be put in place very quickly, so would not suit anyone working full time who has to work a notice period.

  • You must either be a qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) or have recent tuition experience from which we can gain references.
