Overview
Year 2 Full Time Teacher, Bristol
A primary school in Keynsham, Bristol are appointing an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher to join their school on a full time basis. The role will start September 2025 and the school have asked Monarch Education to assist with the recruitment process.
You will be placed in a year 2 class to fulfil the role of the whole class teacher, this will involve planning, preparation and assessment of all curriculum subjects. This position will be paid to scale from day 1 and the school welcomes teachers of all pay scales to apply. ECTs will be fully supporting in completing a minimum of one term of their induction period.
It is desirable for the successful candidate to have good behaviour management skills and immediate availability is essential.
Job responsibilities
- Planning, teaching and assessment
- Adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles and any pupils with SEND
- Creating a positive environment where all pupils can excel and learn creatively
- Liaise with SENCO, Head teacher and parents
- Ability to lead classroom assistants to support all children with additional needs
