We are currently recruiting a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school based in Spilsby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs in a nurturing and inclusive school environment. This role is open to candidates who hold relevant Teaching Assistant or SEN qualifications, as well as experienced but unqualified individuals who have previously worked within a school or support setting with children who have special educational needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with delivering tailored learning activities
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs where required

The school is located in Spilsby and provides a friendly team environment, ongoing support, and opportunities to develop within the education sector. This is a full-time position starting in September.
