A rare opportunity has arisen to join a progressive alternative provision in Doncaster, supporting Upper Primary and Key Stage 3 learners who require a more personalised, relationship-led approach to education. This is a role for an educator who is driven by purpose and motivated by impact, particularly for young people who may be disengaged from mainstream settings.

As a Specialist Teacher, you will deliver engaging, adaptive teaching that meets students where they are, both academically and emotionally. You will work with learners who may have SEMH needs, disrupted educational experiences, or barriers to engagement, helping them rebuild confidence, develop resilience, and re-establish positive learning behaviours. This is a role that goes far beyond the classroom, requiring strong relational skills and a flexible mindset.

You will be part of a setting that prioritises small group teaching, strong pastoral care, and a curriculum designed to support both academic progress and personal development. The environment is intentionally different to mainstream education, offering the autonomy to tailor your approach and genuinely respond to individual learner needs.

We are looking to speak with teachers who have experience across Upper Primary or KS3 and are confident working with students who may present additional behavioural or emotional needs. You will be resilient, empathetic, and highly adaptable, with a strong commitment to inclusive education. Qualified Teacher Status is preferred, although strong candidates without formal QTS will be considered where relevant experience can be demonstrated.

This opportunity stands out for its genuine impact, allowing you to support learners at a critical stage in their journey while working within a supportive and forward-thinking team. You will have the freedom to teach creatively, build meaningful relationships, and see the direct difference your work makes every day.

If you are ready to step into a role where your teaching truly changes lives, we would welcome your application.
