Senior Nursery Practitioner β Handsworth, Birmingham
Do you have a Bachelor / Level 6 Qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare? Are you looking to share your knowledge in a Senior Nursery Practitioner role? Monarch Education are working alongside a private nursery in the Handsworth area who are looking for a full-time Senior Nursery Practitioner. This role will involve leading staff across the setting and overseeing the running of daily routines. It is important you hold a Degree in Early Years or Childcare for this role.
Requirements of applicant:
- You Must have a Degree Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
- Experienced supporting children of EYFS age (0-5 years old)
- Ideally you will be experienced in a senior role in a nursery
- Confident in the planning and delivery of effective learning activities
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver learning activities to stimulate the individual needs of each pupil
- You must be flexible to work in any room in the nursery β including the baby room
- Providing regular feedback to parents on the progression of each child
- Encourage the social development of all children during lesson and break times
- Ensure all children always feel safe and their welfare is always looked after
- Provide personal care to pupils where necessary and ensure their personal hygiene is of a high standard at all times
