Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Special Educational Needs)
Hours: Full-time, part-time, and flexible day-to-day roles available
Location: Mansfield
Pay: Β£85 – Β£100 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Monarch Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Mansfield. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide both academic and emotional support to pupils
  • Assist teachers during lessons, helping with materials and classroom management
  • Deliver focused support to pupils with SEN, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, or relevant experience working with children
  • A caring and hands-on approach to supporting pupils
  • A current DBS check or willingness to apply for one
