Monarch Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Lead Teacher to support learners with additional needs across various educational settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum, using a holistic, multi-agency approach. As Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for the progress and development of learners, ensuring high standards of teaching, safeguarding, and learner engagement. You will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of young people, helping them to achieve their individual potential in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and small group teaching across a range of subjects to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Lead on curriculum planning, schemes of work, and lesson delivery at your site.
- Monitor learner progress and contribute to raising attainment.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to support holistic learner development.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management procedures are followed.
- Support the Learning Manager with assessments, reports, and transition planning.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Two years' experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults in an educational setting.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and ability to differentiate for additional needs.
- Effective communication and ICT skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection.
- UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.
