We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Qualified Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher with QTS to join a well-regarded secondary school in Oxford from September 2026. This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about languages and cultural learning, and who can inspire students to develop confidence and fluency. You will be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable), delivering engaging lessons in languages such as French, Spanish, or German.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
  • Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject
  • Proven experience teaching MFL at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge in at least one language (French, Spanish, or German)
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
