We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Qualified Business Studies Teacher (QTS) to join a well-regarded secondary school in Oxford from September 2026. This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and equipping students with real-world business knowledge and entrepreneurial skills. You will teach across Key Stages 4 and 5 (KS3 exposure beneficial), inspiring students to understand the dynamic world of business, finance, and enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Business Studies lessons
- Teach across KS4 and KS5 (GCSE and A-Level/BTEC)
- Prepare students for examinations and coursework assessments

- Monitor and track student progress, providing targeted support where needed

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge across key business topics (e.g. marketing, finance, operations)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Business Studies or BTEC
- Knowledge of current exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR)
