Monarch Education is currently recruiting SEND Specialist Teaching Assistants for SEND schools in Nottingham. We are partnering with local SEND schools to find dedicated individuals to support students with Autism across both primary and secondary phases. These roles are available to start immediately and offer flexible arrangements, including daily cover, short-term, long-term, and temp-to-perm positions. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.
The successful candidate will support students with Autism in primary or secondary settings. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, implementing support plans, and fostering an inclusive environment. The role involves working closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Requirements:
- At least 12 weeks of experience working with children and/or young adults with additional needs, particularly those with Autism
- Experience must be from work in the UK
- Ability to work effectively with students and staff in a dynamic environment
Additional Information:
- Applications that do not evidence at least 12 weeks of suitable experience will not be considered
- We are unable to sponsor visas or support relocation
