To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, candidates must:

  • Hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent Ofqual-recognised qualification)
  • Have at least 12 months' experience working within a UK education setting

Monarch Education is working with a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND schools across Nottingham and is looking to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs.

Whether you're looking for daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements or a route into a permanent role, we can offer flexibility to suit your availability.

Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications from candidates who do not meet the following essential criteria:

  • At least 12 months' experience working in a UK school or educational setting
  • Confident supporting children with SEND
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
  • Right to work in the UK

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver targeted support
  • Assist with learning, engagement and emotional wellbeing
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required
  • Experienced Teaching Assistants
  • Confidence supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD or other additional needs
  • A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
