Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Kingstanding
Are you a quirky, confident and experienced Nursery Nurse? Do you enjoy working outdoors and encouraging children to learn through differentiated methods of outdoor play? Monarch Education are currently searching for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse for an ASAP start role in the Kingstanding area of Birmingham. This role will involve working 30 hours per week in a private nursery with starts as early as 7.45am and as late as 5.45pm. The setting has stressed the importance of having someone experienced in early years for this role. You MUST hold a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare to be for this role, if not then you will not be considered.
Requirements of applicant:
- You Must have at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Experienced supporting children of Early Years age in a nursery setting
- Able to ensure children meet their Early Stages of Development targets
- Calm and caring nature when adapting support methods to the needs of each child
- Able to provide personal care to children aged 0-5 years old
- Outgoing and bubbly personality that encourages the children throughout learning activities
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting children of mixed EYFS ages and abilities
- Encourage the children when learning through both outdoor and indoor play
- Provide personal care to children to ensure a high standard of personal hygiene
- Help to plan engaging lesson plans to stimulate the needs of each child in you care
- Ensure all children always feel safe and their welfare is always looked after
- Keep up to date records on children progress and report to senior management and parents
