Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work full time within a specialist educational setting in the Kettering area.
The Role
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assist students with their academic, social and emotional development.
- Encourage independence and confidence within the classroom.
- Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
- Patient, caring and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
