Are you an energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher looking for a new role from September? Monarch Education are working with secondary schools across Bristol who are looking for passionate PE Teachers to inspire pupils and support their learning from the start of the new academic year.

The role:

  • As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Physical Education lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, confidence and participation.
  • You will support pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them develop practical skills, resilience and a positive attitude towards physical activity.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PE Teacher, an early career teacher, or a qualified teacher with a strong sports and physical education background who is looking for their next role within a supportive secondary school environment.

You will be:

  • Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and active learning environment
  • Encouraging pupils to build confidence, teamwork and practical sporting skills
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies, both in the classroom and during practical lessons
  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities and learning needs
  • Contributing to the wider PE department and extracurricular activities where required
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
  • Following safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS, QTLS or equivalent teaching experience
  • Confident teaching PE within a secondary school setting
  • Energetic, engaging and passionate about physical education
  • Able to manage behaviour effectively in practical and classroom-based settings
  • Organised, reliable and adaptable
  • Positive, enthusiastic and resilient
  • Able to plan and deliver high-quality lessons
  • Passionate about supporting young people's fitness, confidence and development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status, QTLS or relevant UK teaching experience
  • Experience teaching PE at secondary level
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to complete registration, compliance and safeguarding checks
