Monarch Education is currently recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in a welcoming primary school in the Gloucester area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
About the Role
- Provide individualised support to a pupil with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow tailored learning plans
- Help create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
- Support the pupil both academically and emotionally throughout the school day
- Adapt learning resources and activities to meet the child's specific needs
This role is ideal for candidates with previous school experience, SEND experience, or those looking to develop a long term career in education.
Responsibilities
