About the Role

Monarch Education is looking for enthusiastic and supportive General Teaching Assistants to work within local primary schools across Wantage, supporting children from EYFS to KS2. Whether you're working 1:1 with a student, supporting small groups, or helping across the full classroom, this is a role where you can truly make a difference every day! What You'll Do

  • Support students on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and activities
  • Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
  • Provide emotional and academic support to pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and participation

What We're Looking For

You don't need formal TA qualifications - full support and free training are provided - but we are looking for people who are:

  • Warm, patient, and caring
  • Confident working with children of primary ages
  • Reliable and committed
  • Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Experience in a school, childcare, SEN, tutoring, sports coaching, youth work - or similar roles - is highly beneficial.
