To be successful in this role, you must have Qualified Teacher Status and experience teaching in a UK school. Monarch Education is recruiting a Full-Time English Teacher for a secondary school in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for English
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the English curriculum
Essential requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting
- Knowledge of the UK secondary school curriculum for English
