Monarch Education are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in South Gloucestershire (BS15), part of a respected multi-academy trust, to recruit a committed and experienced Subject Leader of Design and Technology. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity to cover maternity leave. The Role
- Lead and develop the Design and Technology curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire and support pupils to achieve excellent outcomes in a practical and creative subject area

- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment

The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Has strong subject knowledge within Design and Technology
- Has experience of leading or supporting leadership within a department (or is ready to step up)
- Demonstrates a passion for teaching and curriculum development
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills
- Is committed to achieving the best outcomes for all students
