Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary Location: Banbury Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time Salary: Paid in line with the Main Pay Scale Induction Support Provided Monarch Education is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Banbury, which is looking to appoint a dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) from September 2025. This full-time role is ideal for a newly qualified teacher ready to begin their career in a nurturing and well-structured school environment. The school is committed to supporting your development and will provide a full ECT induction programme, including mentoring, release time, and regular professional development. About the Role: Full class teacher responsibilities in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (year group to be matched to your strengths and preferences). Delivering well-planned, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Monitoring and supporting pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback. Collaborating with a phase leader and a dedicated ECT mentor to guide your professional growth. Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment for all pupils. The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or be on track to achieve this by July 2025). Be enthusiastic, reflective, and passionate about teaching. Be open to learning and keen to grow within a team-oriented environment.
