Monarch Education is proud to partner with a welcoming Nursery School in Kings Heath, dedicated to providing high-quality Early Years education. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join their team on a term-time basis.

Location: Kings Heath, Birmingham

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am until 4:00pm. Term time only

Duration: ASAP until July 2026

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting children's learning and development in accordance with the EYFS framework
  • Assisting with daily routines, including mealtime, play, and personal care
  • Providing individualised support to meet children's diverse needs
  • Observing children and maintaining detailed developmental records
  • Supporting the planning and implementation of stimulating activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and social interactions
  • Ensuring a safe, clean, and inclusive environment for all children

Candidate Requirements

  • A valid, Early Years approved qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator, CACHE, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working in a UK Nursery setting
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development best practices
  • Enthusiastic, caring, and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills with both children and adults
