Monarch Education are looking to recruit a Tutor to teach a group of refugees of mixed ages and abilities.
This is a unique position for someone looking to challenge themselves by having root to branch input into planning and delivering a bespoke curriculum to a group of Children who have been resettled in the UK and do not speak English. We are aiming to provide each school aged child with 5 hours per week of English and social skills to help adapt to school life when they join the education system.
Pay: 20 β 40 per hour
Start: 1st September 2025
Length: up to 3 months
Working Week: 5 mornings each week 9am β 12pm
Location: Bordon, East Hampshire
The successful candidates will ideally have;
- Experience in working with EAL
- QTS / TESOL / CELTA
- Ability to plan a bespoke curriculum for mixed abilities
- Tutoring experience
- Experience in working with Adults who have suffered trauma
- Ability to work in a team with workers from other authorities
- Independent working
- Loving and caring nature towards learning
