We are delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the DN4 area of Doncaster, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full time basis. This role will involve supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including delivering lessons and providing class cover when required. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pupils' progress and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
The Role
- Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Delivering pre planned lessons and providing class cover as required
- Working with individuals and small groups to support learning
- Assisting with planning, preparation, and assessment
- Creating a positive and well managed classroom environment
- Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Maintaining strong behaviour management and safeguarding standards
Requirements
- HLTA status (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working within a primary school, ideally across KS1 and KS2
- Confidence delivering lessons and managing a classroom
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting pupil progress
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
