Teaching Assistant

Daily pay: £92.59-£115

Monarch Education is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a primary school in Bury.
About the role
You will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils' learning, communication and well-being.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support.
- Adapting activities to suit individual learning needs.
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Encouraging independence and participation in lessons.
- Sharing progress and observations with school staff.
What you'll need
- Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or relevant childcare setting.
- A calm, patient approach and the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Confidence following individual support plans and staff guidance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
