About the Role
As a Supply Languages Teacher, you will deliver clear, engaging, and well structured lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will bring strong subject knowledge, adaptability, and a calm, professional presence to every classroom. Your lessons will help students build linguistic skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing while deepening their cultural awareness. You will quickly establish positive routines, encourage purposeful learning, and inspire students to enjoy studying languages and take pride in their progress. Your work will play an important part in supporting the school's commitment to high quality teaching and a well sequenced, ambitious curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging MFL lessons aligned to KS3 and KS4 curriculum requirements
- Support students in developing strong linguistic understanding, pronunciation, recall, and cultural awareness
- Follow school policies, departmental guidance, and planned schemes of work
- Maintain a calm, structured, and well organised learning environment
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a positive attitude toward language learning
- Provide targeted support to learners needing help with confidence, comprehension, or behaviour

What We're Looking For
- QTS or relevant secondary MFL teaching experience (French, Spanish, or other languages)
- Strong behaviour management and confident communication skills
