We are currently recruiting 1–2–1 Tutors to support pupils in the Bolton area who are not currently accessing a school setting. This is an opportunity to play a key role in helping young people re‑engage with education through tailored, individual support.
About the Role
- Deliver individualised 1–2‑1 tuition to pupils
- Support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Special Educational Needs (SEND)
- Plan and deliver sessions in:
- Maths and English (KS1–KS4)
- Functional Skills (where appropriate)
Working Pattern
- Tuition takes place during the school day
- Typical assignments involve 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday
- Opportunity to take on multiple pupils depending on your availability
- Completion of daily session records and half‑termly progress reports required
- Due to the nature of the work, this role is best suited to individuals with flexible availability
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS, or significant recent tuition experience with references
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and/or SEND needs
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions
- Strong communication and organisational skills
