The Role

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the Year 6 curriculum.
  • Prepare pupils effectively for SATs assessments whilst maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes independence and resilience.
  • Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong subject knowledge.
  • Has high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attendance.
  • Is committed to inclusive education and meeting the needs of all learners.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.
