The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the Year 6 curriculum.
- Prepare pupils effectively for SATs assessments whilst maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes independence and resilience.
- Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong subject knowledge.
- Has high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attendance.
- Is committed to inclusive education and meeting the needs of all learners.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
