School Administrator (SCHOO46086) Birmingham, England
Salary: GBP14.25 - GBP18 per hour
Monarch Education is working with a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit experienced School Administrators for full-time opportunities.
These roles are full-time, Monday to Friday, with typical working hours of 8:00am-4:00pm, although this can vary depending on the individual school.
Please note: we cannot consider applications from candidates who do not have previous experience working within a school environment.
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous experience working as a School Administrator within a UK school
- Experience using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, ScholarPack or similar
- Experience handling school attendance, pupil records, admissions, reception duties or general school administration
- Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
- Strong organisational and communication skills
As a School Administrator, you may be responsible for:
- Managing front-of-house reception duties
- Handling attendance and safeguarding records
- Updating and maintaining pupil data
- Supporting admissions and school-wide administration
- Managing incoming calls, emails and visitor enquiries
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting senior leaders and wider school teams with administrative tasks

- Can work efficiently in busy school environments
- Are confident using school systems and Microsoft Office
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Are professional, organised and proactive
- Can build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents
