Salary: £100 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Monarch Education are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the Coleshill area for Level 3 Qualified Early Years Teaching Assistants who are also Paediatric First Aid Trained too.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a stimulating, safe, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, making this an excellent role for candidates seeking flexibility alongside a rewarding career in education.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based activities, structured learning opportunities, and positive interactions. You will support children’s communication, social skills, early literacy and numeracy development, whilst ensuring their individual needs are met.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification
  • Paediatric First Aid Certification
  • Experience working within an EYFS setting
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
  • A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
  • A proactive and flexible attitude
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children’s learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
  • Delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Observing, monitoring, and recording children’s progress
  • Supporting speech, language, and communication development
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
  • Supporting children’s personal, emotional, and physical development
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team
