Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their early years? We are seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Aston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and ready to make a real difference in the classroom.
Key Details:
- Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant
- Location: Aston
- Hours: Full-time, 8:15 AM - 3:40 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Until July 2026 (with potential extension into the next academic year)
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working within an EYFS school setting
- Strong understanding of early years development
- Experience with phonics is highly desirable
- Ability to support the class teacher and engage children in learning
- A positive, proactive approach and excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of the early year curriculum
- Ability to confidently deliver phonics to small groups
Requirements:
- A minimum of a level 3 qualification relating to childcare or equivalent
- Recent experience working within a school setting
- Strong and clear communication and interpersonal skills
- UK experience in a school
- Able to provide recent and relevant references
