Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their early years? We are seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Aston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and ready to make a real difference in the classroom.

Key Details:

  • Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Aston
  • Hours: Full-time, 8:15 AM - 3:40 PM
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract: Until July 2026 (with potential extension into the next academic year)

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working within an EYFS school setting
  • Strong understanding of early years development
  • Experience with phonics is highly desirable
  • Ability to support the class teacher and engage children in learning
  • A positive, proactive approach and excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the early year curriculum
  • Ability to confidently deliver phonics to small groups

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a level 3 qualification relating to childcare or equivalent
  • Recent experience working within a school setting
  • Strong and clear communication and interpersonal skills
  • UK experience in a school
  • Able to provide recent and relevant references
