Monarch Education is working with a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit experienced School Caretakers for a variety of opportunities.

To be considered, you must have:
- Previous experience working as a School Caretaker, Site Supervisor, Facilities Assistant or Site Manager within a UK school
- Experience opening and closing school sites
- Experience carrying out maintenance, health and safety checks and site security duties
- Good practical maintenance and DIY skills
- A proactive and reliable approach to site management
Working patterns can vary depending on the school's requirements and may include:
- Full-time positions
- Split shifts
- Early morning site opening duties
- Afternoon and evening site closure duties
- Monday to Friday working patterns
- Long-term and permanent opportunities
As a School Caretaker, you may be responsible for:
- Opening and securing school buildings
- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs
- Ensuring school grounds are safe, clean and well maintained
