Monarch Education is working with a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit experienced Attendance Officers for full-time opportunities. These roles are typically Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, although start and finish times may vary depending on the individual school's requirements.

To be considered, you must have:
- Previous experience working as an Attendance Officer, Attendance Administrator or School Administrator within a UK school
- Experience using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, ScholarPack or similar
- Experience managing attendance, pupil records and safeguarding procedures
- Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
- Strong administrative, communication and organisational skills
- Confidence working with attendance data and reporting systems
As an Attendance Officer, you may be responsible for:
- Monitoring and recording pupil attendance and punctuality
- Producing and analysing attendance reports
- Following up on pupil absences with parents and carers
- Maintaining accurate attendance records
- Working closely with safeguarding and pastoral teams
- Supporting attendance improvement initiatives across the school
- Managing attendance data through school management systems
- Ensuring compliance with school and local authority attendance procedures
We're looking for candidates who:
- Have previous attendance experience within a school setting
- Are confident using school systems and Microsoft Office
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Can manage sensitive information professionally and confidentially
- Have strong communication skills and are confident liaising with parents, staff and external agencies
- Can work effectively in a busy school environment
