Monarch Education is partnering with a school in Birmingham, near Great Barr/Perry Barr, to recruit an Art Teacher and Subject Lead.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Art across key stages, leading the department, and developing the Art curriculum. The role involves planning and delivering lessons that meet the national curriculum standards, assessing student progress, and supporting departmental development. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to school-wide initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality Art education.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level
  • Ability to lead and develop the Art department
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
