Hours: 8:15am - 3:15pm

Salary: £140.25 - £232.38 per day (DOE)

About the Role

As a Supply Drama & Dance Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, support students through practical workshops, script work, choreography, and theory tasks, while maintaining a positive and engaging environment. Depending on your background, you may teach units in performance, movement, devising, characterisation, choreography, and stagecraft. General classroom cover may also be required where needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, inclusive, and well-structured Drama and/or Dance lessons
  • Encourage creativity, teamwork, confidence, and self-expression
  • Guide students through both practical performance work and written theory
  • Maintain strong behaviour management and promote a positive learning culture
  • Follow all safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies
  • Build strong professional relationships with staff and students
  • Adapt confidently to different school routines, performance spaces, and expectations

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Not Essential
  • Strong communication skills and confident classroom presence
