About the Role
You’ll be joining a dedicated Art department that encourages creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking. The school promotes a broad and inclusive curriculum, with excellent facilities to support both traditional and contemporary art practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging, imaginative lessons that inspire creativity
- Support students in developing technical skills and personal expression
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and academic progress
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and visually stimulating learning environment
What We\’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
- Experience teaching Art up to GCSE level
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for the arts and student development
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
