Monarch Education is looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable Inclusion Support Assistants to join our fantastic partner schools in Abingdon. If you’re passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in school, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role

As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will work with students who need additional support, either 1:1 with a specific child or general classroom support, helping multiple students with additional needs. You’ll support learners with a range of special educational needs, which may include Autism (ASD), ADHD, social/emotional needs, or mild learning difficulties. Your goal is to help them feel confident, included and successful every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting students in lessons, break times and during small group work
  • Helping children manage routines, emotions and independence
  • Building positive, trusted relationships with pupils and staff
  • Adapting activities so all learners can participate
  • Creating an encouraging, safe and inclusive environment
