Area: B45, Birmingham
Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30 – 3:30
Salary: £100 – £110 per day
Start date: September
Monarch education, part of affinity workforce, are working closely with a \’Good\’ rated school in B45 to recruit for their inhouse resource base, helping pupils who have different SEND need\’s who can\’t be within a mainstream classroom.
This is a full-time, long-term role, Monday to Friday to start in September and if successful could be for the full academic year.
The needs will include Autism + ADHD+ challenging behaviour – You will need to have extent experience with working in small groups with individual\’s with SEND needs but this doesn\’t have to be from a school setting but a care setting too.
They are looking for someone who as a positive outlook on life, friendly and flexible, who is child centred and always willing to go the extra mile for any children in their care and to able to work well within a team.
Qualifications And Experience
- (Preferably) hold a level 3 in supporting and learning or equivalent
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting that we can reference in the last 2 years
- Able to control challenging behaviour
- Knowledge and understanding of SEND practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students.
The school has a supportive team of staff creating a caring atmosphere around the school, with up to date educational technology and nearby public transport routes and onsite parking available on school site.
