About The Role
As a Lunchtime Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that pupils have a safe, enjoyable, and well-supervised lunch break. Your responsibilities will include supervising children in the dining hall and playground, assisting with meal service, and promoting positive behaviour during the lunch period.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising children during their lunchtime in the dining hall and outdoor areas
- Assisting children with their meals as needed
- Promoting positive behaviour and social interaction among pupils
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children during lunch
- Supporting children with special educational or behavioural needs if required
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment during the lunch period
- Reporting any concerns or incidents to the appropriate staff
- Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential
- Friendly, approachable, and confident in managing children
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed
- Reliable, punctual, and caring
- Right to work in the UK
