Are you searching for a new path within your career in Early Years? Monarch Education is working with a Nursery School in Northfield, Birmingham, to find a Level 3 Nursery Nurse experienced in supporting pupils with SEND. The role is Wednesday to Friday, 9 am - 3 pm, with personal care responsibilities.

Requirements of the Applicant:

  • Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years
  • Experience supporting children with SEND of EYFS age
  • Knowledge of EYFS and SEND National Curriculums
  • Understanding of various SEND conditions and their impact on learning & development
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt support strategies to meet diverse needs

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children with SEND in the setting
  • Ensure inclusion of SEND pupils in all activities
  • Support children in forest school activities
  • Collaborate with the SENCO to implement and review IEPs
  • Support social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Apply positive behaviour management techniques
