Job Description
Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Area: Bristol
Salary: ÂŁ88.90-110 a day
Hours of work: 8:30-3:30 Monday- Friday
Monarch Education are recruiting for a school in Redland Bristol who are looking for individuals to take on a Behaviour Mentoring role. The school is seeking someone who is confident communicating and interacting with young people and supporting them with their social, emotional and mental health needs.
This is a large school with a good reputation for supportive senior leadership and a friendly working environment. The school invest a large amount of time in both the well-being of students and staff. This is a great opportunity to make a difference to the lives of young people and be a part of a supportive and high achieving team.
Job Description:
- Working with children in the classroom setting
- Managing challenging behaviour
- Working with students one to one
- Acting as a positive role model to students
- Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students
The School Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with young people, this could be as a Sports Coach, Dance Leader, Scout Leader or something similar
- Has a positive attitude
- Can engage children in and out of the classroom
- Feels confident managing challenging behaviour
- Has a can-do positive attitude
