We are seeking a motivated and proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor with consultancy experience to join our growing Manchester team. The successful candidate will take a lead role in delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across the Retail, Commercial, Residential, and Leisure sectors. They will play a key role in managing cost, risk, and procurement across the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery on behalf of the clients.
Working under the guidance of the Regional Director, you will be responsible for delivering Quantity Surveying services while leading project teams and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. As our Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:
- Provide full pre and post‑contract Quantity Surveying services
- Act as a key client‑facing representative and trusted advisor
- Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration processes
- Monitor budgets, costs, and risk profiles to ensure successful project outcomes
- Lead and coordinate internal teams and external consultants/contractors
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to wider client account management and business development
About You
- Degree qualified (BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent)
- 7 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong contract knowledge and contract administration experience
- Ability to manage change and advise clients on key project risks
- Experience leading teams and developing junior staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
