Contract: Full time, permanent. 37.5 hour working week; Monday to Friday.
In order to be successful in this role you must be an experienced Project Manager with experience of the construction industry and consultancy and/or client experience.
We are Monaghans Ltd, providing best-in-class multi-disciplinary building consultancy services, delivering quality professional expertise and advice to clients throughout the UK and internationally. Our core services include:
- Cost management
- Project management
- Programme management
- Building surveying
- Health and safety consultancy
As our Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Day to day delivery of projects
- Managing accounts at an account executive level, involving client liaison and managing an internal team structure
- Contract administration
- Developing and utilising key project documents & processes
A degree in construction management or similar would be great although this is not essential. Strong Project Management knowledge base throughout pre and post construction phases is required.
Experience in the construction sector, particularly retail, leisure, or commercial sectors is necessary, along with:
- Experience of administration of construction contracts
- Experience of working within a consultancy or client organisation
- Ability to clearly articulate project needs on a scheme by scheme basis
- Ability to pro-actively contribute to value management and value engineering studies at project and programme level
- Team player capable of a flexible approach
- Strong IT capabilities including working experience of Microsoft Office
